We represent you a product developed by Mendeleev Ltd. from Saint Petersburg. It is a two-component wood bleaching agent – Snegurochka-2.
Let’s take a pallet for our experiment. Remove the upper contaminated layer using a jack plane. Now we see the limits of upper and lower zones. The lower part will be bleached using a chemical method.
Let’s proceed with antiseptic treatment and take the first component – Snegurochka-2.
Snegurochka-2 is a clear liquid without any odor. It is a highly-efficient agent designed to catalyze, bleach and preserve wood.
Let’s apply at least 100 ml of Snegurochka-2 per square meter with a flywheel brush and wait for 20-30 minutes.

Once in my career, I faced with a need to apply a powder painting method to aluminum alloy parts. The customer set extremely strict requirements for appearance and thickness of coating. As a result, about a quarter of parts were discarded by the Quality Control Department. The price of parts is several times higher than the price of painting, so the question of powder coating removal came up.
Another problem was that the parts were coated with anox, anodic oxidation over aluminum and aluminum-based alloys which ensures protection against corrosion. Such a coating also provides excellent adhesion for paintwork materials, including powder paints. Moreover, anodizing during galvanic treatment may also be accompanied with painting to give the parts a decorative touch.

Graffiti have become a problem No. 1 for both Russia and the rest of the world. Probably, everyone faced such a demonstration of vandalism. Unfortunately, these inscriptions affect the aesthetic image and historical architecture of our city.
MENDELEEV Ltd., research and production company, has developed a line of materials to address this problem. Today we are going to demonstrate how to remove graffiti from roller shutters in a fast, cost-effective and safe manner. The base is grooved metal plates covered with a thin layer of powder paint.
Air temperature today is -4° C.
Approximately half a year has passed after this graffiti was made.

Galvanized metal is widely used in construction and restoration finishing of buildings – roof, rainwater pipes, cornices. Quite often the customer requires to design galvanized metal elements in the same color as the building facade, which would make them nice-looking and, at the same time, significantly increase their durability.

Wooden curtain holders which started the history of home decoration remain very relevant. Modern wood processing technologies make it possible to create distinctive curtain holders with decorative elements. End-caps, holders, brackets, wood-carved leaves and flowers require careful and accurate painting. Different tints, blisters and craters in the coating, paint leaks, different coating thickness are not only unacceptable – these are coating defects. An enterprise having a metal articles powder painting line faced with an intractable task. A large batch of steel pop-rivets was discarded. In a short period of time a quality removal of the powder epoxy-polyether coating had to be executed. This paint and varnish coating is destroyed in both in liquid agents – Powder Paint Remover No. 860 – by dipping, and in jelly-like ones – Powder Paint Remover No.133 P – by applying with a brush (this composition is more practically applied to large-size items). There is, however, an alternative: Method of dipping the parts painted with a powder paint into the jelly-like composition Powder Paint Remover No.133 P. The result exceeded all expectations.

Glued laminated timber (Glulam) is a new technology in wooden constructions building. One of the advantages of glued laminated timber is that it is deformation-resistant. It provides a perfectly new level of architectural creative work, as the glued construction is not limited by span width, depending on a timber length.

Glulam is made from wood of coniferous species, which is sawn and treated in drying chambers to the relative humidity 8 to 12%. There may be several bars to be glued, which makes the laminated timber durable and size-independable. For gluing bars with one another special two-component high-tensile glues are used which do not prevent wood from “breathing”.
